A couple Saturdays ago, Jason and I decided to hike Untersberg Mountain. And by hike, I mean take the cable car to the very top and then walk around the trails on top of the mountain. We were actually going to hike to the top but then decided against it. I am very thankful for our decision because there was still a ton of snow on the trails and they were very steep and slippery. There is no way we could have reached the top without snow shoes. We couldn't even go as far as we would have liked but are definitely going to go back in the spring when the snow melts. There was so much snow, in fact, that several other people sat on their jackets and went sledding down the trails rather than walking when they got too steep and slippery. After a couple of hours, we grabbed some lunch and zwei große Biere. What a great day!!
