Jessica and Hutto's Visit- Part 2

The next stop on our trip was Prague. Being a huge fan of airbnb.com, I had booked an apartment and we had a cozy place to stay right in the center of town.

When we first arrived, I took Jessica and Hutto see St. Charles' Bridge, the Lennon Wall, the Love Locks and the Toy Museum. Afterwards, we immediately went up to Castle Hill. It was gorgeous! The best part was, we happened to stumble upon a wine festival on our way down. It was amazing and we had a spectacular view of the city. We tried various wines and had a blast.

After the wine festival, we walked around the city, went to dinner and then went to a local pub. The night ended pretty early, considering we started drinking around 4pm. It was so much fun!!

The next day, our plan was to go visit the Jewish Quarter. With our luck though, it was a Jewish holiday and everything was closed. We settle with a paddle boat ride on the river and then explored more of the city. Then, I went to get a massage while Jessica and Hutto had a date. This was followed by a dinner that was way too expensive for what we got. 

The next morning, we had to leave Prague and head back to Salzburg. On the way home, we stopped in a lovely town called Cesky Kromlov. This was after the parking nightmare we endured as we were trying to leave our apartment. Long story short, I was parked in a space and blocked in by 4 vehicles. We finally got everyone to move and then I was stuck and couldn't get out because the spot was so narrow and I couldn't make it out of the parking garage. Two different guys got in my car and helped me maneuver and about 20 minutes later, we were finally out of the garage. Hutto of course took a picture when I thought I was going to have a heart attack. By the way, the guys ended up bumping into the wall twice and another vehicle. Thank God there was no damage done!

When we finally got back to Salzburg, it was our last night before I took Jessica and Hutto to the airport the following morning. We went out for one last hoorah!

I had a wonderful time with Jessica and Hutto while they were visiting. I'm so sad their trip has already come and gone but I will never forget the memories we made together. I can't wait until they come visit again!! xx
