Among all the wedding plans, I decided to get my scuba diving certification so Jason and I can go diving together in Mexico during our honeymoon (talk about getting it at the last minute!!). Jason has been diving since he was a teenager and always wanted a dive partner. So, as soon as I got to the U.S. I found a dive shop that could work around my hectic schedule.
Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon were my first pool sessions. There, I learned how to use all the scuba equipment, completed all my swimming tests, etc. Over the weekend we spend about 8 hours in the pool total. Class got out early on Sunday and my instructor and I decided that I was ready for my first open water session. We drove to Lake Lanier, where I completed my first two dives. At first, Jason and my instructor were making fun of me because I was wearing two full wetsuits and one shorty. If you can't recall, it was 61 degrees out on Sunday. I am so glad that I did so because it was freeeezing!! But, it wasn't as cold as it was this morning, when I completed my last two open water dives. We started our last dives at 9am this morning and it was a whopping 51 degrees outside. Thank goodness the water was warmer (not by much!) than the outside temperature. Oh well! After our dives this morning, we went back to the shop where I got my temporary scuba certification card. My real card will be sent to me in the mail. Yay, I did it- just in the nick of time!! ;) Jason, I hope you know how much I love you!! ;)
Well, we tie the knot in 4 days. It really is so surreal! I can't wait to marry the man of my dreams and go diving together in paradise (where it will be much, much warmer!)!!

Atlanta Bachelorette Party
I know, it seems like I have had a ton of bachelorette parties! This is the last one, I promise!
Last Wednesday night, some of my friends and sorority sisters from college took me out to dinner and drinks. Even though it was a random Wednesday, we still had a blast!
We went to Buckhead Bottle Bar for dinner. While we were there, they had a lingerie shower for me. I got some super cute stuff! After dinner, we went to Whiskey Blue for some drinks. It was a totally random night, which is probably why it ended up being so much fun!
I am so thankful for all of my friends. Even though they all had to work the next day, they all stayed out and made my night! Shoutout to Jess who has been the best Maid of Honor ever and has done wayyy too much for me! I love you girl!!

Kaitlyn's High School Graduation in Missouri
Last Wednesday, Jason and I were off on another road trip to Missouri for a long weekend. This time was a lot of fun. We went to go see his daughter, Kaitlyn, graduate high school. So excited for her! In case you were wondering, Kaitlyn decided to join the U.S. ARMY and will attend bootcamp and then training this summer and fall. Next spring she will start school at MSU. We are so proud of her and know she will do great in all that she does!
While we were in Missouri, we stayed at Jason's parent's house. They own a buffalo ranch. We got to play around the ranch and see the baby donkey and baby buffalos. We went running on the pretty country roads, went shopping, and went out to eat in Branson. All in all, we had a great time. Isn't it lovely when you can go somewhere beautiful and get away from it all? I sure did need it since it is wedding crunch time. I can't believe we are getting married in 10 days!! Ahhhh! So much to do! Don't worry, I'll try to keep you posted!

We made some great memories and had a fantastic time. Thanks so much to all the girls that made my weekend so special! You have no idea how much it means to me to have such wonderful friends in my life. Can't wait to celebrate my special day with you in 3 weeks!!
Oh, and a special thanks to my wonderful MOH, who helped make it all possible! Love you Jess! :)
